Who Moved My Cheese

I was gifted this book by a co-worker when I was 22 y/o. At the time I was working at Whole Foods Market (s/o to B. Hall), had just graduated from F.I.U, and was desperate to make a change in my life. I had applied for dozens of jobs but was left feeling defeated after receiving back to back rejection notices. Several disheartened venting sessions led my coworker to ask me if I had ever read Who Moved My Cheese, and after I said I hadn't he brought it in the next day! I'm so grateful he did because this little treasure truly did help my perspective at a time when I needed it most!

I've been told that 8-year-olds read this book, and I can totally see why. The simple storytelling displayed in this book makes it easy for kids to comprehend, and the premise to "follow the cheese" can apply to any adult life. This is a must-read for anyone in the process of making any major career change, life shift, or for someone who needs a wake-up call. It's less than 100 pages, so you can knock it out over the weekend. I suggest you start it this Friday to get your dose of inspiration to start the following Monday feeling like the purpose-driven bad-ass you are!
