My Voyage To Belonging
I discovered the transformational impact of support systems when I moved back to New York City at 24 years old. I visualized myself hitting the ground running in this new atmosphere. However, I found myself experiencing loneliness and depression.
With transparency as my guiding compass, I began opening up about my experiences online and started gathering with other women just like me! In these tender spaces, we shared candidly about our wrestling with belonging, self-understanding, and navigating the windy sometimes unexpected curves of life. This is how Goddess Council began.
Social wellness is a facet of wellness that is rarely talked about or thoughtfully integrated into the wellness sphere. I'm doing my part to create vulnerable, authentic spaces that usher in honest, meaningful conversations, and nourishing exchanges.
My hope is that over time the communities I help to architect serve as sacred third-spaces where women can show up fully as they are while being activated to evolve alongside other curious and expansive souls.
