Get to know Yajaira

In this episode, I gave a recap on all the things currently going on in my life. I'm struggling a bit to balance all the new things being added to the mix, but I'm simultaneously grateful for all of the opportunities. I also chat with author and educator Yajaira De La Espada! Yajaira is the author of The Alphabet of Enchantment Island, a bilingual alphabet book about the magic of being Boricua & the African heritage of Puerto Rico and a teacher bringing about radical change in curriculums. Throughout this chat we discussed the inspiration behind her children's book, what it means to be a child imagination specialist, afro-latinidad, and lots more!
