Trinkets For D

I stumbled upon Trinkets for D (t4D) while perusing at a vendor fair in Wynwood around early January and instantly fell in love! The owner of the shop, Aida Sabina, was courteous and radiated warmth in her words. After a few minutes of looking around, we began chatting and she shed light on the inspiration behind her shop. I found out that Aida began selling her jewelry as a means to come up with additional funds to cover therapy and medical costs for her son Dylan who had been diagnosed with autism just before his 3rd birthday. It became clear that although Aida loves creating, there was a bigger purpose to her work.

If you're looking to add life to your wardrobe and conscious of where your dollars are going you have to check out Trinkets for D.

Not only does Aida hand make jewelry, but she also ethically sources unique apparel and statement pieces from countries like Guatemala and Thailand to empower female artisans! Stumbling upon her shop was a bit serendipitous because I had just arrived from Thailand a few days prior and was already having vacation withdrawals and upon seeing her booth I immediately perked up! I spotted elephant pants and the colorful hand sewed clutches that I had recently seen all over the Thai islands and felt like I was back.

If you're looking to add life to your wardrobe and conscious of where your dollars are going you have to check out Trinkets for D. I promise you won't be disappointed! Shopping at T4D is a perfect way to support she-prenuerism, small biz, and a mom willing to do whatever it takes to make sure her child is well taken care of.
