Get To Know Nydia
I had a wonderful chat with Brooklyn based storyteller, Nydia Simone. Nydia is a multi-hyphenate focusing on writing, directing, acting and community building. Her film "The Lost Book of Rap" was accepted into the 2015 Cannes Film Festival and she has since written other features. In the midst of film projects, she manages a lifestyle platform called Blactina, which celebrates afro-latinx stories and culture!Throughout our conversation, we discussed afro-latinidad, Nydia's experience in acting, what inspired her to begin writing and producing films, and loads more!
