MadameNoire: Ask A Black Woman
If you've tuned into the first episode of my podcast (if not whatcha waiting for?) you'll remember that I mentioned auditioning for something completely out of my element. It was for this! I got a chance to be featured in MadameNoire's series Ask A Black Woman and the experience was one for the books. Taking into account that I had NEVER done anything like this before, I was nervous as hell and didn't know what to expect but I think I held my own.As soon as the taping was over, I immediately knew I should've spoken up a bit more, but because I typically play the role of interviewer, my default mode is to listen more than I speak but in this case, I don't think it was a good thing (lol). Although I didn't say as much as I could've, I enjoyed this experience a lot and hope to be in front of the screen covering real topics like this in the near future!Catch the entire Ask A Black Woman Series on MadameNoire.com
P.S. The irony of this opportunity is that it caught me during my short 3-month window of being single in NYC. Ya girl is taken now though, so take this as a PSA fellas.
